Is breast weight directly related to cup size?
Not by itself. A cup size represents volume relative to the band circumference (ribcage). A 36C cup contains significantly more tissue volume (and weighs more) than a 30C cup. Weight is calculated using both band size and cup letter.
Why does tissue composition affect weight estimates?
Breasts consist of glandular tissue and fatty tissue. Glandular tissue is denser and heavier than fat. High breast density (common in younger or lean individuals) translates to higher weight compared to breasts of equal volume composed primarily of fat.
How is breast volume calculated?
Our calculator translates the band and cup combination to an approximate hemisphere volume in cubic centimeters (cc), referencing statistical datasets of breast dimensions. It then applies the average density constant to derive the mass.
How does breast weight impact physical posture?
