VEDAM MOVIE STORY (ENGLISH)
Vivek Chakraborty is an upcoming rock star in Bangalore, hailing from a family of decorated military officers. His mother wants him to follow the same path but he is not interested. He will give his first live concert in Hyderabad on New Years Eve with his bandmates. However, Vivek is late to catch the flight, forcing the gang to hit the road. After a while, one of his tires gets damaged. Although he is not an extra, the other friends inflate the tires leaving Vivek and Lasya alone. Meanwhile, he was attacked by a Hindu fundamentalist group. However, they manage to get out of the mess with the help of a Sikh truck driver (who becomes embroiled in a previous dispute with Vivek). The band successfully arrives in Hyderabad. However, they suffer a small accident there, involving a mother. Vivek and Lasya take her to a nearby hospital.
Saroja is a prostitute in Amalapuram who works for Rattamma. She has a best friend, Karpuram, who is a Yaksha. Saroja doesn’t like working for Rattamma and she plans to run away. Her dreams come true when she receives a call from one of her Hyderabad agents. The next day, which takes place on New Year’s Eve, she leaves Hyderabad for Karpuram, without Ratpamma’s knowledge; But not before the local deputy inspector called Bulabai to use the pills before bed. However, Saroja was arrested by the bailiff in Hyderabad for misleading Buljabai. Karpuram released him from the inspector and they were both taken to a client by his agent. The client turned out to be yet another broker, who bought Saroja and Karpuram from Ratamma. The two manage to escape the pimp after a fight, during which Karpuram is stung. Cable Raju is a lower-middle-class boy who lives with his maternal grandfather in the poor neighborhood of Jubilee Hills. He loves Pooja, who belongs to the upper class of society. Pooja, however, does not know Raju’s financial background and thinks of her as rich. Raju has to get 2 passes for a big New Years Eve party that costs around 2,40,000. He tries to get that money in various ways, but he doesn’t. He even tries to snatch the chain from the woman’s neck, but her motorcycle collides with the police van when the police catch her. They take him to the police station where he meets Saroja. However, Dappu Subani (who started him in the chain stealing business) comes to his rescue and frees him. His grandmother, who was upset with his behavior, gives him 3,000 rupees and does as he asks. At a local coffee shop, he sees Ramulu with a package of his money and decides to steal it and take him to the hospital. He successfully manages to steal the package from Ramulu and Padma. However, when he was about to pay for the pass, he realized his mistake, added his 3,000 rupees to the package, and returned it to Ramulu at the hospital.
