Does rotating a PDF file reduce its text or image quality?
No. This tool changes the /Rotate key within the metadata of the PDF pages. Since the pages are not rasterized or re-compressed, the original high-resolution text, vector lines, and embedded images are preserved losslessly.
Can I rotate specific pages instead of the whole document?
Yes. You can select and rotate individual pages using the buttons on each thumbnail preview, or input specific page ranges to rotate only those selected sheets.
Why do scanned PDF pages often need rotation?
Automatic document scanner feeds sometimes scan pages sideways or upside down. Rotating them corrects their reading orientation, making them readable on tablets, phones, and computers.
